Due to Real Life and my lack of real interest, LSI is Closed.

The site still has all my characters up as well as records. I appologize for anyone looking forward to LSI reopening, and perhaps, it still may as their may be more interest in Alskyr rather then Pern. But, for now, I find I am more happier on Pern so Falas, the FGPC, and Dark Moon are my three sites at the moment.

Below you spralls a city that seems ripped out of a fairy-tale story book. Cobblestone streets weave a maze around the huge city of En-tare, the capital of Lantir-setia. Carriages pulled by elegant horses, mules pulling old farm carts, and people walking about on foot all go about there day below as the dragon, a handsome young red beast named Egilth, flies over them. A few people stop and look up, a few waving while they grin.

It wasn't until the dragon lands in a huge central area near the market place which seems devoid of people. It's the landing area reserved for those who fly into En-tare rather then walk. The dragon seems pleased with himself and turns to look at you and his rider. "Welcome to En-tare! I gave you the grand tour on purpose!" Egilth grins, winking as his rider, a young man named Relend Khorros, helps you dismount. He hands you your pack with a grin.

"I have some errands to run for the CaerLord," Relend says, swining his long legs over his dragon's neck (who ducks easily even if he hadn't needed to). "I'll send Anesis with you." A bronze caer lizard lands on his upraised hand and chirps. "Just tell him when you are done. Perhaps later we can visit the Cear, Aerie and Cove." He smiles as you nod.

"I've heard there are winged wolves here, too," you say as you let the little bronze settle onto your arm. "Are they still here or did they all leave Alskyr to go to the new WolfKeep?"

Egilth laughes as he is folding his wings. "Oh, heavens no! The're still here. Lead by High Alpha ?? and his pretty little mate. Not many people are allowed to entere Taheyr Roahai, however. Not even dragons or gryphons. The High Pack keeps to themselves."

You nod at this, giving the young man a look. He blinks. "Nothing," you say. "You just have a different accent them I'm use to hearing here on Alskyr."

Relend laughs. "I'm not from Alskyr. I'm from a world called Sentra. You may have already heard if it, if you've been to Falas Weyr. Not many people talk about it. Darkness is brewing there, and was before I left." He sighs and pats Egilth's neck as the dragon looks down at his rider sadly. "Aenon Kahnler and Jarel Redwood are from Sentra. Necromancers, too. Something I could never master though I grew up in the Dark City." He grins at you. "Not that matters. Sentra is banned by not only Weyrleader J'ren of Falas, but CaerLord Skiel due to the events at Falas Weyr. Not that I ever want to go back. I had little to look forward to there."

You nod and take your leave, the little bronze Anesis on your shoulder. Behind you, Egilth takes off to find a place to enjoy the sun while his rider sets out to compelte his erand.

The 'photos' used on this site were rendered with Terragen (not Terragen 2, that one is still a too confusing for me...). The basic idea for this site's set up is from Talor Cliff Weyr (no longer online) and used with permission; top design inspired by Tolkien Town. This site is best viewed in Internet Explorer but is still viewable in FireFox - it will just gnaw on the edges a bit, making it look a bit funny. This site requires the font Lancastershire.

Lantir-setia, Cear TolEras, Arminas Aeire, and Tavrobel Cove are part of the World of Alskyr and is no way related to any other written works. Alskyr is an originally created world, and is not a derivative of, nor should it be confused with any such works of science or fantasy fiction by any authors such as Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Melanie Rawn or others. The images used on this site to represent the villages and other locations around Lantir-setia were found on the internet. Some links I saved but they no longer work. I give full credit to the photographers of these wonderful images. They help make Lantir-setia a more believable place that one can see. XD
